- How does the booking process work?

The booking process is simple. First, you select the package that best suits your budget and preferences. Once you order, you’ll receive a passport form to fill in, once that’s done we’ll get to work carefully putting together the best weekend of the year for you!
- Can I request a destination or match for my Mystery Away Day?

We do accept destination and league requests!
In your passport form received upon checkout please state the league or countries you wish to avoid or would prefer and our processing team will do their best to accommodate these requests.
Please note we do not accept specific match requests due to the logistics that go into booking each trip.
- Can I book a Mystery Away Day for a group of more than 10 people?

Absolutely!
If you have a party larger than 10 looking to go on the ultimate football adventure simply drop us a message on our live chat between 10am-6pm or, email us at info@mysteryawaydays.co.uk from there we can give you a custom quote.
- What comes inside a gift box?

Our gift boxes contain:
- Your Destination and match reveal document
- Flight itinerary
- Accommodation document
- City guide document
All gift boxes are sent via 1st class postage and will arrive 1-2 weeks before your departure.
Please note: all gift box orders will also have their details emailed to the purchaser’s email 1 week before departure so you have everything in one place!
- What standard of game do you send customers to?

The majority of games we send our customers to are the top division for their mystery country. There are occasions in which people get sent to the second division however all of these games are researched and vetted to ensure you have the best possible time on your travels!
- Can we take children on our Mystery Away Day?

Of course! Mystery Away Days are a perfect birthday or Christmas gift for a young football fan.
If you’re travelling with a child, please let us know on your Passport Form so we can book family friendly accommodation (if requested) and make sure you’re sat together on the flight and at the game.
- Which airports can I fly from?

At present, we have trips available from many of the major airports in the UK.
When ordering, you are asked to select which airport is closest to you. This will be the airport you fly from, and return to.
- When will I know which game I'll be attending?

We usually send all flight and match tickets and accommodation details (if requested) a couple of weeks before your departure date. Sometimes, match tickets may arrive a little closer to your departure date, depending on when our partner clubs distribute the tickets to us.
- Will we be sat together if we book as a group?

We always make sure you’re sat together at the game!
Flight seats are not included in your package but can be purchased upon receiving your flight details.
If you’re taking a child, please let us know on your Passport Form so we can ensure you’re sat together on the plane too.
- Can I change or cancel my booking?

Once your booking is confirmed, changes or cancellations are not allowed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Is accommodation included?

When making your booking, you get the choice of whether you would like us to complete the whole package and book your accommodation for you, but if you wish to book your own accommodation, you can also request this when making your Mystery Away Day booking.
- What documents will I need to take on my Mystery Away Days adventure?

You will need to bring a valid passport, the boarding pass that you’ll be emailed and any necessary documents required for entry into the destination country.
Please also take your passport, or a photo of your passport, to the stadium as in some countries it can be required for entry.
- How far in advance should I book my package?

Our weekends sell out fast, so we recommend booking your package as early as possible to ensure availability.
- Will I be able to choose my flight timings?

Flight timings are determined by the airline and are beyond our control. However, in your passport form you can let us know your preferred flight time, and we’ll do our best to match that.
- Will I be able to receive a refund if I am not able to travel or my flight is cancelled?

We book non-refundable flights so that we can offer you, the fan, the best prices for the mystery trip.
Once your non-refundable booking is confirmed, changes or cancellations are not allowed. Therefore, refunds will not be provided.
However, if your flight or game is cancelled by the airline or club, we’ll pass on any refunds from the airline.
- Will I have to pay extra for the game ticket?

No, the game ticket is included in the package price.
- Are airport transfers included?

Transfers from airports, hotels, and the game are not included in our packages and will need to be arranged by the customer.
- Can I upgrade my flight?

Any upgrades to flights such as picking seats, adding meals, etc will not be included in your package and must be purchased by yourself when you receive flight details.

- How long are the Mystery Away Days?

Timings differ, but they are usually Friday to Sunday, giving you plenty of time to explore the mystery city. Although we sometimes off shorter and longer stays.
